Nathan Michalowski dominated match play with scores of 299, 265, 257, and 245 to take home $459 and his first MAST title. Michalowski's 299 and 821 were the only honor scores of the day and helped secure him another $90 for betting on himself to win. Paul Bober also had a nice run in match play with games of 238, 239, 248, and 194 to end in second place and earn $252.

The tournament at Village Lanes drew 53 bowlers. A score of 895 over 4 games was required to advance to match play and Rick Thomas led qualifying with 1044 to earn 25 bonus points. Thomas made it to the semifinals where Bober knocked him out 248 to 237.

The tournament was sponsored by Village Lanes who donated a portion of the lineage back to the prize fun and Badger Pro Shop who donated 2 Storm plastic balls to the drawing. The bowling balls were won by Jay Heinzelman and Jim Herfel. Village Lanes also added a $10 gift card to the drawing that was won by Bob Richardson.
