Ken Duffield outlasted 51 competitors at Leisure Lanes to secure the final 2010 regular MAST session title. Duffield shot games of 236 and 280 in the first two rounds of match play before meeting Dustin Meisel in the semifinals. Meisel put pressure on Duffield trailing by 1 pin going into the tenth. Meisel finished with 3 strikes for 228 forcing Duffield to strike out for 229 and the win.

The final match against Paul Bloemer also came down to the tenth frame with Duffield filling the tenth frame for 227 over Bloemer's 214. Duffield received $456 for the win and Bloemer earned $228 for second place.

The cut for the top 16 and a chance to compete in match play was 899. Jeff Richgels was high qualifier with a score of 1014, earning 25 extra bonus points. Rick Thomas made a run to take the lead in season point standings from Chris Pounders, although he fell short after not advancing past the second round of match play. Gail Myers Jr. rolled a 299 game, the only honor score of the day.

The MAST thanks the tournament sponsors: Leisure Lanes who donated a portion of the lineage back to the prize fund, Badger Pro Shop for donating a ball at cost to the raffle, and Budweiser for adding $100 to the prize fund. The MAST also gives a special thanks to Dan Goepfert for hosting the tournament and bringing in this year's record of 11 house bowlers to compete. A Brunswick C-System was won by Mark Newkirk, and two $10 gift cards to Leisure Lanes were won by Rick Thomas and Jeff Sweeney.

The MAST year end tournament is set for April 10th and 11th at Schwoegler Emtertainment Center. The tournament is open to the top 40 points earners for the season and confirmation of attendance can be given through the MAST discussion board. Thanks to all who bowled this season and for making this year's tour a success.
