Paul Bober continues his winning streak with doubles partner Andy Loose to capture the Bowling Green MAST doubles title. This is Bober's second consecutive win and a third MAST title for Loose. The duo defeated Jeff Richgels and Chris Pounders in the final match, 459 to 398. Bober and Loose each received $442 for their win and Richgels and Pounders each received $221 for second place.

Thirty-one teams competed on the USBC Blue pattern, the most difficult of the USBC Red, White, and Blue. It took a score of 1648, an average of 208 per bowler, to make the top 8 and advance to match play. Richgels and Pounders scored 1851 to qualify as the top team. In addition, Pounders was the lead individual qualifier, bowling 953, to earn 25 extra bonus points. Two honor scores were bowled, a 300 by Marc McDowell and a 290 by Justin Fryer.

Thanks to Terry Knight and the rest of the staff at Bowling Green for hosting the tournament and donating a portion of the lineage to the prize fund. They also provided two $10 gift cards, won by Rick Thomas and Andy Bunkoske. Badger Pro Shop contributed a $225 gift card to the raffle, which was won by Becky James (again).
